What is your behavioral health practice actually worth?
Most valuation advice for group practice owners is either a broker’s sales pitch or a generic small-business rule of thumb that ignores how this industry actually trades. This is neither. Answer twenty-odd questions about your practice and get a defensible estimate, along with the specific things helping and hurting your number.

Who built this
I’m Tim Moore, a licensed professional counselor in Oregon with twenty-eight years of clinical experience. I built a behavioral health group practice from nothing, and I’ve been through the sale process as the seller — not as an adviser watching one.
I ran that process myself — assembled the CIM, ran the buyer conversations, and sat through due diligence. The model behind this calculator reflects what actually moved the number and what buyers actually asked for, not a textbook formula.
This tool is not a broker pitch. Nobody calls you. There is no “book a consultation” step.
What you’ll get
A range, not a number
Low, midpoint and high, with the reasons the range is as wide as it is. Anyone quoting you a single precise figure off a short form is selling something.
Your real SDE
Including the replacement-clinician adjustment most owners miss. If you still carry a caseload, this is usually the largest single correction to what you think you’re worth.
What’s helping and hurting
The three factors adding the most to your value and the three costing you the most, drawn from the thirteen factors the model scores.
What we don’t collect
No client data, no patient data, no PHI of any kind. The form never asks for it and there is nowhere to upload it. Every question is about the practice as a business.
There are no accounts and no passwords. We keep your email address and the figures you enter, so we can send you your estimate. That is the whole system.
