An hour with someone who has actually run one

Most advice for group practice owners comes from consultants who have never met a payer, or from clinicians who have never read a P&L. I have done both jobs. If you are stuck on something specific — a number, a hire, a decision you keep deferring — an hour is usually enough to move it.

Ask about an hour

$500 per hour. No package, no retainer, no minimum.

What people bring

The number you can’t get to

Collections, no-show rate, days in A/R, clinician utilisation. Usually the figure exists somewhere and nobody has pulled it into one place.

Hiring that keeps failing

Screening, comp models, the first ninety days. Most group practices lose more to a bad hire than to a bad payer contract.

Getting out of the clinical seat

What has to be true before you can stop producing revenue yourself, and what it costs you until it is.

Preparing to sell — or deciding not to

What a buyer will actually underwrite, what they will discount, and whether the number is worth the next two years of your life.

How it works

You email me what you are stuck on. If I think an hour will help, we book one. If I don’t, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better — that costs you nothing and saves us both an awkward call.

We meet for an hour by video. You get a written summary afterwards with what we decided and what happens next, because an hour of good conversation you can’t remember on Thursday was not worth $500.

Invoiced after the session. Book another when you want one, or don’t — there is nothing to cancel.

What this is not

This is business coaching for practice owners. It is not therapy, and it is not clinical supervision.

I am a licensed professional counselor and a board-approved supervisor in Oregon, and neither of those is what you are buying here. We will talk about your practice as a business — its numbers, its people, its systems. If what you need is clinical consultation or supervision toward licensure, that is a different arrangement and a different conversation.

Nothing here is legal, tax or accounting advice. For anything that ends in a signature, talk to your attorney and your CPA.

Not sure it’s worth an hour?

Run the valuation first. It is free, it takes four minutes, and it will tell you what a buyer would pay for your practice today and which three things are costing you the most. Plenty of people find that is all they needed.
